Super gehäuse man hört kaum was MM

Phanteks Eclipse Midi Tower ohne Netzteil schwarz + RGB Lüfter - ist ein Sehr guter Midi Tower für einen Fairen Preis. Alles wurde sicher Verpackt inkl. der Seiten scheiben. Der Case weist keine beschädigungen auf und ist von der Verarbitung her sehr gut. Gibt eigentlich nichts zu bemängeln ausser auf der Rückseite wenn es zu viele Kabel sind kann das ganze etwas Eng werden. Aber sonst hat man viel Platz für bsp. 2 SSDs und 2 SATA und noch mehr + . Auch beitet Phanteks eine Menge an Zubehör auf der Dazugehörigen Hersteller Webseite. Ich würde das Case Uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Negatives kann ich an dieser Stelle nicht sagen weil ich nichts finde ! Einfach ein Top Case !

I haven't seen any other reviews for this case so I will try my best to give a detailed overview of the case.

The case is very similar to the Phanteks P400S TG with a couple of subtle differences. The front panel is made of a metal mesh without a filter behind it. This will probably cause some dust build-up over time but seems ok for now. There's a review on Youtube for this case where they had the white model and said that the airflow through the front mesh wasn't really good. Looking at image stills from the video it seems like the white version has a much thicker layer of paint on it and therefore is much more restrictive.

The fans mounts on the front have also been changed and instead of the long rails they used to have on the P400S which gave you a lot of flexibility with mounting the fans, the P400a unfortunately uses shorter mounting rails with limited adjustment. The fans have also been centered.

Speaking of the fans, there are 3 Digital RGB fans included with this case as well as a Digital fan controller. The fans have a normal 3 pin connector instead of PWM and can easily be daisy-chained for the RGB. The power connectors don't have a daisy chain extension. Standard they run around 800~900RPM and are barely audible. The RGB lights are really cool and well done. I moved my lower fan to the back to work as an exhaust because the standard configuration was very pressure positive and had no exhaust.

Cooling wise I went with the Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev. B which is 162mm tall. The specs on the Phanteks specify a max height of 160mm for cpu coolers, but the Macho Rev B fits without hitting the glass (Ryzen 5 3600 system). If you want to do watercooling there's space for a 360mm radiator up front, but I don't think a 280mm or even a 240mm radiator would fit on the top due to the clearance with the motherboard and RAM.

The PSU has its own compartment and I found it very difficult to get my PSU, a Corsair RM750x (old model) in there. The slots at the top and bottom are a bit on the small side but it's still possible to get your cables through them and hide them behind the motherboard tray. I would've wished for the rubber grommets to be moved slightly to the right side for a better ease of access to the 24-pin connector.

Cable management is relatively easy as there are velco straps in the back and included zip-ties. I did have some issue closing the right side panel even though my cables were well routed. I wish there was a few more mm space for cable management.

The last thing I want to talk about is the Quality and Quality Control. The case is made out of very thin metal which makes it very light, but also makes it feel flimsy. Maybe I'm just used to old cases; my previous case was the NZXT Zero and that was an aluminium case which felt more sturdy. Quality control wise I have small issues such as all the thumb screws and fan screws being overtightened (damaging the paint on the front fan mounts) and scratch on one of the HDD drive bay covers. It's nothing major, but it's definitely something which annoyed me. The tempered glass panel looks beautiful, but the mounting system is not the best and it's easy to drop the glass if you're not careful.

Overall I'm very pleased with this case. My build really looks beautiful in it and it was relatively easy to build in this case. This case is definitely worth it compared to a H500 and has more space to work in compared to the Fractal Meshify C for a similar price.
