- The keyboard is nice and comfortable to type.
- The built-in soundcard is very useful if your PC case is far from your desk, as it is my case.
Cons:
- The keyboard powers itself off very often. One needs to unplug and re-plug the usb to turn it back on. This happens even when no device is plugged to the built-in USB hub and the soundcard is not being used.
I have connected an additional 5V power supply to the jack included in the USB cable. It is too soon to say, but it seems that random power off has diminished. However, they still happen sometimes.
- The sondcard also fails at times. In my first attempt, I had a flawless Skype conversation. The second time, it kept making strange noises on my end and also in my counterpart's. It was impossible to use. This was all before plugging the additional power supply.
I haven't experienced the same electrical noise again. Nevertheless, the headphone jack is prone to false contact, and one needs to play a bit with the jack to obtain a clear sound.
Overall, I give some credit for the idea and the design, but the keyboard is barely usable, and it seems it just won't work without the additional power.
