Hello dear users.
What can be told for this cooler? Its simply amazing,i used this cooler to replace a factory i3 6100 cooler, the difference is enormous .
Intel i3-6100 @ 3.7GHZ (Default Clocks)
Factory made Intel cooler : Idle 35-38 , full load (prime 95 small fft ca. 1 hr) 65-67
Cooler Master Hyper 103 : Idle 26-29 , Full load (prime 95 Small fft Ca. 1hr) 48-51
The ambient temperature was about 27 Degrees.
The cooler has a very good design, the copper pipes are making direct contact with the cpu and they seemed to have gone under some polishing, they make excellent contact.
Besides the performance , I am personally a fan of quiet systems, ultra quiet or absolute "mute" level systems.
Regarding the fan provided with this heatpipe, that light 92mm blue CM fan is a sweet piece of joy, when you can manage to keep it below 85% it will be very very quiet, above that 85% it becomes a turbine of some sorts. Keep in mind that with my i3-6100 on default clocks and small fft Prime95 the fan never went above 72% within the 1 hour of straight testing.
Very efficient cooler on default clocks, havent tried it in overclocking but i think it will manage well in some heavy-weight oc along with an fx amd series.
If you wanna replace factory cooling or if you even want to Oc just a little bit for the fun of it,at this price ,you wont have another cooler.
From my experience with various 92mm coolers , among the line of Arctic freezer , scythe Katana 4 and others, this is by far the most efficient cooler
