Geschwindigkeit lesen: 1875 MB/sec, Geschwindigkeit schreiben 1935 MB/sec, gemessen mit Crystal Disk Mark.
Hardware: Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming, AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, 16 GB 3200er RAM.
* It uses QLC (Qual Level Cell) memory technology. When the cache is filled during large file copying/transfer, the speeds drop significantly. QLC is also less durable than TLC (Triple Level Cell).
* The SSD itself is quite ugly - would it have killed Intel to at least make the circuit-board black?
* Slower overall than some other NVME SSD drives
Positive Points:
* The QLC memory is very rarely an issue - only when copying very large files and/or folders (Bigger than 60GB). Be honest, if you are regularly copying such huge file sizes, then any consumer SSD is not really a good option for you.
* The price is very competitive and the warranty is a good added bonus.
* The speed is still quite a lot faster than SATA SSD drives and will be fine for most people - even though it is slower than other NVME drives.
Speeds in Mac OS:
Read: 1692 MB/s
Write: 1578 MB/s
Overall verdict: The main negative aspect is the QLC memory however it likely won't actually be an issue for many people. People who regularly deal with copying/transferring huge files/folders will probably be poorly suited by any consumer-grade SSD. QLC is less durable but there is a good warranty provided and likely the drive will almost certainly be obsolete before the drive becomes worn-out.
I feel this drive hits a perfect price to performance match. It isn't perfect but it'll be more than enough for most people and the price is very competitive. I own and use these drives in 2 of my computer systems and have been very satisfied.
