Had to update the bios and the system didn't boot anymore after the update. Fixed now but was a minor issue. I was dissapointed that i had to connect the antenne wires myself. Bought a Z87E-ITX a while ago and it was already done.
But overal nice mainbord.

Absolutes Spitzenklasseboard. Einmal im HTPC verbaut. Gehäuse Chieftec FI-02BC-U3, 8Gb DDR3- RAM, Sundisk 240GB-SSD, 2x 2GB WD 2TB 2,5Zoll HDD, Blue-Ray Slim Line Brenner.
Cloud Zugang damit aufzusetzen.

Ansonsten: Klare Kaufempfehlung!

++ The shipped UEFI bios version is 2.40, which at least supports A10-7800 and G-Skill 2133MHz out-of-the-box, no need to upgrade
++ CPU socket location is good for after-market coolers ...
-- ... but the components on the back side of the board prevent usage of some mounting kits (mine is OK, though)
-- Poor location of Front HD-Audio connector (will be blocked by PCIE cards)
-- The AsRock's UEFI bios doesn't seem to support RPM control via voltage for 3-pin fans, only PWM is supported (4-pin)
-- The Wifi/BT antenna is quite ugly and burdensome (will probably have to invest in getting standard antennas, at some point)
Other thoughts:
This is my second board, had to return the first one as it didn't work (not sure whether the fault was in CPU or MB).
6 SATA ports on an ITX board?! Waste of space.
Only two fan sockets - on the other hand, two should be enough for ITX systems.
Linux Mint 17.1 (and all the other distros I've tried so far) work out-of-the-box, no need to jump through hoops.
I know there are quite a lot of negatives listed. But in the end, most of them are low-priority issues. All in all, it's a good board. Biggest deciding factor should be the CPU socket location. First select your CPU cooler, then find out whether you want the socket in the center or more towards the edge. For FM2+, there aren't that many ITX choices (5 in total, I think). In my opinion, the center location is better for bigger coolers.

Klasse Teil.
